The Laser Plasma Laboratory (LPL) is a research center within UCF's College of Optics & Photonics focused on laser science, optics, and photonics research.

As the laboratory's sole designer, I redesigned the website to make complex research feel more approachable without taking away from the credibility of the work.

Through interactive elements, thoughtful layouts, and motion, I tried to balance the dense scientific content with a more engaging experience. I wanted to show that a research institution can be respected, informative, and still feel interesting to look through.
